   Whats the applet that loads when I go to the Spankolife page? This started about a week ago. Firefox security doesn't like it.

  I'M NEW HERE AND AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH TECHNICAL COMPUTER TERMS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT AN APPLET IS; HOWEVER, THE WEBSITE IN GENERAL IS RUNNING LIKE DIAL-UP INTERNET AND DISPLAYS A DIALOG BOX THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE ABOUT SLOW PAGES WITH OPTIONS OF KILL OR WAIT. I HAVE A FAIRLY OLD COMPUTER AND HAVE HAD TO RECENTLY INSTALL EXTENSIVE SAFEGUARDS TO BLOCK TROJANS, VIRAL INFECTIONS, ETC. AND WONDER IF IT IS MY SOFTWARE OR THE WEBSITE EXPERIENCING AND/OR CAUSING THE PROBLEM. I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THE PROBLEM AT OTHER SIMILAR WEBSITES.

  Eileen, its not your computer, mine is quite new, fast and the site is still abysmally slow. It attempts to load a Java applet, a chunk of computer code written in the language Java. We are not told whet this little program does, and it cant be trusted without explanation.
