  I love these...And have done it many times, especially as a kid.

  
  

  A few to start that i personally have done. sometimes singing at the top of my lungs. 

  
  

  Jet Air Liner, Steve Miller Band.... "big old chad had a light on..."  instead of "big old jet airliner"

  
  

  Smoke on the Water  - "Smoke on the water, and fire engine guy"  instead of "and fire in the sky"

  You forgot "'Scuze me while I kiss this guy" instead of "'Scuze me while I kiss the sky" in Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix.

  Years ago I knew a guy who thought the song Hotel California by The Eagles was about the gay scene in San Francisco. No matter how many times we tried to tell him the song was a metaphor for cocaine addiction, he just didn't get it...

  i always thought Hotel California was about sacrifice. but cocaine makes perfect sense, and Mr Brownstone from GandR is about hash...lol Katee

  sacrifice...hell... occult, regardless. i often check song lyric meanings online. Tar Heroin makes sense too...
